Family Zone Cyber Safety Solution

When I started my journey into cyber safety, one of the actions on my business plan was to investigate what products where on the market and determine which one was, well…..the best!

Family Zone has the best interests of our children at heart, while still ensuring that their tool is simple and effective for parents to understand and operate.

How does Family Zone Work?

Family Zone protects children’s devices both in the home (WiFi) and outside of the home (other WiFi Networks, Cellular Networks).

To protect all devices in the home (including Smart TV’s and Gaming Consoles), the Family Zone Home Box connects into the existing modem/router. This creates a ‘Safe’ network to connect the children’s devices to.

The Dashboard allows parents to create age appropriate profiles and manage what their child can and can’t see and access online. Parents can select a Cyber Expert which uploads the Cyber Experts recomendations directly into their Dashboard and keeps it up to date.

To protect children’s devices outside of the home, the Family Zone app is installed onto the device. This ensures that the settings in the dashboard are applied to the device when it is outside of the home.

And so that parents don’t have to log into a dashboard to make changes, there is a Parent Family Zone app downloaded onto the parents device. This allows for ‘quick changes’ on the fly.
