5 Easy Ways Your Kids Can Safely Search Online

5 Easy Ways Your Kids Can Safely Search Online

There are some great reasons why you should use a search engine that is specifically designed for kids.

  • Most of them employ Google SafeSearch technology which cuts down on inappropriate content.
  • They filter out the ‘noise’ of the web!  There is an enormous amount of information available on the internet.
  • They mostly access educational websites.  This means that if your child is doing research for an assignment that they are going to be accessing suitable content that is aimed at their age level instead of trying to decipher and wade through lengthy articles to determine what they can use.
  • You can feel quite comfortable that a search done through a kids search engine is going to return fairly safe results.
  • They increase the quality of internet safety in your home.

I went to www.kidzsearch.com and typed ‘Sex’.  Yes. I did.  Guess what came back?  Zero.  Nothing. Zilch. No information, no images, no videos, news, games or apps.  If you try that with Google you are NOT going to get the same result!!  If you have Google SafeSearch turned on you will only be presented with some safe images of couples and the word sex here and there but never-the-less, more information than what kidzsearch returned.
